Music launch of Siddhardh’s latest film Oy! was held at Rama Naidu studios on the night of 22 May 2009. Prabhas, Siddhardh, K Raghavendra Rao, KS Rama Rao, SSRajamouli, Bommarillu Bhaskar, Seenu Vytla, D Suresh Babu, Yuan Shankar Raja, Anand Ranga etc attended the function as guests.

K Raghavendra Rao launched the audio CD and gave it to Rajamouli. Prabhas launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to D Suresh Babu.

Bommarillu Bhaskar said, “Anand Ranga was my class mate in film school. He worked for a couple of my films. All the directors who directed Siddhardh for the first time are in good positions. Yuvan Shankar Raja gave original tunes for Oy. I wish a great success for this movie.”

Siddhardh said, “I am feeling special today because my last film is running today in 8 theaters of Hyderabad. I want to act in more Telugu films from now onwards. I knew Anand Ranga from the days of Bommarillu. This is the second director I trusted the most after Prabhudeva. I blindly followed him. He will be one of the great directors in India soon. The producer handled me the job of album production. It was a wonderful experience with Yuvan Shankar Raja. The music has come out really well. National award winning child actress Shamili is making her debut as heroine with this film. Vanamali penned four songs in this movie.”

Vanamali said, “My career started with penning songs to Ilayaraja music. I worked with Karthik Raja also. I feel great to work with Yuvan Shankar Raja as well.”

The audio of debutant director Anand Ranga's much-anticipated Oye, starring Siddharth and child artiste-turned-heroine Shamili of Mani Ratnam's Anjali fame, will be released on May 22. Yuanshankar Raja is the music director.

Soon after the audio launch, the unit will go to Australia on May 23 for canning the songs. Recently, the film had a few highlight scenes shot in a house worth Rs. 30 lakhs, constructed in Rishikonda beach.

Produced by D.V.V. Danayya under the banner Universal Media, Oye is almost complete and touted to be a 'poetic love story' with an unusual climax. The story revolves around how two youngsters get together in the climax by overcoming all hurdles.

Scripted by Anand Ranga, an associate for the blockbuster hit Bommarillu, Oye is the second film by actor Siddharth in 2009, who is on a high after the thumping success of his Konchem Ishtamga Konchem Kashtamga.

After the thumping success of his Konchem Ishtamga Konchem Kashtamga, Siddharth is now awaiting for the release of his much-hyped Oye, which marks the debut of two newcomers: Anand Ranga as a director and Baby Shamili of ace director Mani Ratnam's Anjali fame as a heroine.

While Oye is slated for a May release, we hear that Siddharth has roped in yet another debutant director Rambabu for his next film. Sources say this venture will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and will hit the floors once Oye is complete. More details are awaited.

Leading actor Siddharth, currently busy shooting for debutant director Anand Ranga's much-hyped Oye, has reportedly okayed a storyline narrated by director Ravibabu and penned on the lines of Bollywood film Lakshya (2004).

Siddharth is said to have very much impressed with the storyline and it is reliably learnt that the hero is trying to develop a six pack abs exclusively for the flick. If these reports are true, Siddharth will be trained by Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s personal physical trainer.

Jointly produced by Sunkara Madhumurali and Ravibabu with a whopping budget of Rs. 8 crore, this untitled film is about an irresponsible youth, whose father is a millionaire. In order to change the lifestyle of his son and to make him focus towards a specific goal, his father makes him join the Armed Forces. What kind of changes he achieves there is the basic plot.

The most famous child artist Shamili is now making her debut as heroine with young looking star Siddharth in the film ‘Oye’.

The story is said to be love subject where a strong love blooms between two young hearts and how they make it successful forms the essence.

Recently, few Highlight scenes were said to be shot in Vizag with Siddarth, Shamili and the noted actor Krishnudu. It seems that a 30 lakhs worth house was constructed for this latest film in Rishikonda beach.

DVV Dannayya is the producer of this movie under his universal media banner and this marks the debut of Anand as the director. Good going folks!!!
